Construct Gymnasium & Classroom Facility

  new construction
McKinzie Construction constructed the new gymnasium facility at the Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, Oklahoma. This facility includes a gymnasium, wrestling room, weight lifting facility, room, locker rooms, classrooms, restrooms, ticket counter/concessions and parking facilities. The project was completed for the basketball season opener in 2002. The 33,000 square foot structure consists of masonry and steel construction with a metal roof. The gymnasium has a hardwood floor, bleachers, scoreboards, and sports equipment for basketball and volleyball. Separate rooms for wrestling and the weight lifting facility were also included in the construction. The women’s and men’s locker room facilities include lockers, coach’s offices, restrooms and showers. The gymnasium is used as a multiple purpose building due to its design including six classrooms. The classrooms are fully equipped for educational purposes for elementary and high school students.
